This was a group I shot in practice on Friday evening 4-26-2019 in Kentucky. The group was measured by 3 witnesses and agreed to be .271" CTC. Conditions were absolutely perfect with no wind, no mirage and no glare. Distance was 400 Yards. Hankins Custom .40, Pittman Aeromax .402" 325 Grain. These were the Version 1's.

Green indicates that the bullet is stable for your velocity and twist rate. Data was derived with an adjusted tip length of .131" for the AccuMax .402" and .161" for the Aeromax .402". Values are for fully obturated bullets at .408" diameter.

Range testing of the Pittman Bullet's Aeromax .402" 325 Grain went well today. The rifle was a Hankins Custom Smokeless Muzzleloader custom built to handle the charges tested. These charges are not recommended for any other rifle by Pittman Bullets. The ballistic coefficient of the Aeromax .402" 325 grain at 3122 fps average has been doppler verified at .584 G1. This gun is grouping under 1/2 MOA at 200 yards with the loads tested today. More to come...
